New leadership in the JPI Urban Europe Governing Board

When the Governing Board met in Bologna on December 6 Ingolf Schädler from the Austrian Ministry of Transport, Innovation and Technology, who chaired the Governing Board since the inception of the programme in 2010, handed over to the new chair Inger Gustafsson, from Sweden’s innovation agency Vinnova.

Inger Gustafsson will be supported by four vice chairs with specific area responsibilities that reflect the current priorities in the programme and the mission to accelerate urban transitioning: Henk Snoeken, vice chair EC Policy relations, Ministry of Infrastructure and Water, Netherlands; Mari Solerød, vice chair Communication, Research council of Norway; Paola Clerici, vice chair Alignment, ENEA, Italy; Michael Paula, vice chair Widening participation, Ministry of Transport, Innovation and Technology, Austria.
