Project Description

Integrated smart city mobility and energy platform

Electrical mobility and electricity use are getting closer together on a local level. me2 is a platform which takes advantage of this reality. It makes citizens of local communities more connected and aware of their energy usage, and incentivises changes in individual and collective behaviour. This will help them became both engaged with the local community and save on their energy expenses in one move. The project will lead to more balanced grids, lower average energy costs for consumers, a policy recommendation set for local and national agencies, and a viable business model which includes a positive business case and an enticing and valuable proposition. The project will be conducted in both Lisbon and Amsterdam.
