SUMMARY:SUGI Projects Kick Off Meeting
DESCRIPTION:JPI Urban Europe and Belmont Forum invite all projects funded in the SUGI (Sustainable Urbanisation Global Initiatives) Food-Water-Energy Nexus call and representatives from involved funding agencies to a projects kick-off meeting in London on June 11 – 12 2018.\nThe meeting provides an opportunity for the project partners to meet and to share knowledge\, present results\, engage in strategic discussions and to find partners for future cooperation. The aim is to provide useful information and to establish a strong community from the start.\nThe program strives for a high level of interaction mixing presentations with interaction in group discussions and workshops. The SUGI team will give important information on formal requirements and programme activities in the coming four years and respond to questions from the projects. All projects are invited to give short “pitches” in a cavalcade of projects. \nEngage in in-depth discussions in workshops\nParticipants will have the opportunity to share insights and give feedback on each others’ projects in a poster session and to engage in content related in-depth discussions\, to explore the links in ongoing projects and future cooperation as well as challenges and opportunities in international research cooperation. Projects are invited to share past experiences and to discuss leadership and communication strategies\, mapping international networks and local stakeholder groups. \nWelcome to register three partners from each project!\nWe have space for three representatives from every SUGI project to attend the kick-off meeting. DESCRIPTION:JPI Urban Europe and Belmont Forum invite representatives from all Belmont Forum and JPI Urban Europe funding agencies involved in the SUGI (Sustainable Urbanisation Global Initiatives) FoodWater-Energy Nexus call and other key people to a three-day event in London\, UK June 11-13 \nThe Belmont Forum and JPI Urban Europe Internationalisation Strategy workshop aims to capture the experiences from SUGI so far\, to draw conclusions with relevance for SUGI programme management and for future international cooperation. The workshop will explore funding agencies’ interests\, conditions\, priorities\, etc. for a longer-term cooperation of international funding agencies and Belmont Forum with JPI Urban Europe and JPI Climate (TBC) in particular regarding\, but not limited to\, upcoming ERA-NET co-fund calls prepared by JPI Climate (TBC) and JPI Urban Europe.
