DESCRIPTION:JPI Urban Europe will be at the World Urban Forum in Abu Dhabi with a booth in the exhibition area and with a session in the Urban Library 33 on Wednesday 12 February at 3pm local time. Organized and convened by UN-Habitat\, the World Urban Forum has become the foremost international gathering for exchanging views and experiences on sustainable urbanization in all its ramifications. \n \nExhibition booth: Hall 9 stand no. H9-18\nCome by our booth to learn more about us\, upcoming and ongoing calls and projects\, our way towards Urban Living Labs 2.0\, provide us with your opinions on urban dilemmas or just have a chat. You can find us in Hall 9 at stand no. H9-18\, just accross the Urban Library. \nSession: Wednesday 12 February\nSuccess stories- From smart city projects to sustainable urban futures\nThis event offers good practices and learnings from 15 transnational and transdisciplinary research- and innovation projects on Smart Cities and Communities which JPI Urban Europe funded with the support of the European Commission in the ERA-NET Cofund Smart Cities and Communities call. Event participants will have the opportunity to learn from success stories of the projects and listen to involved partners who have practiced co-creation across cultural and sectorial boundaries. In these projects\, actors from academia\, the business sector\, the general public and city officials have innovated ways to tackle the urban issues of behavioural change and culture related to energy consumption\, ecological footprints\, socio-technical integration\, transportation\, and more. It focuses on exploring and shaping opportunities for people involved in Smart City projects. \nThis is the first event of a series of EIP-SCC matchmaking activities.
