SUMMARY:Towards climate-neutral mobility in cities: Extended Thematic AGORA & site visits
DESCRIPTION:Join us on our journey towards climate-neutral mobility in cities! We will discuss the main challenges\, opportunities and funding options at our extended AGORA Thematic Dialogue in Konya\, Turkey. \nWe will showcase good practices\, have interesting local site visits and make sure to create a lot of networking possibilities. In the workshop sessions we will discuss the following topics: \n\nChallenges and opportunities for cities to reach climate neutrality\nHow to achieve speed reductions in the traffic of urban areas? – learning from examples\nChallenges and solutions in the dissemination of active mobility in cities (e.g. cycling\, walking)\nSustainable solutions in freight transport (Roadmap for safe\, sustainable\, efficient\, technology-supported\, integrated city logistics)\n\nVenue (on-site only): Taş Bina Conference Hall\nAddress: Şemsitebrizi\, Ankara Cd. SUMMARY:Designing inclusive and engaging hybrid workshop formats - Design and application workshop
DESCRIPTION:The Urban Europe Research Alliance (UERA) and the Karlsruhe Transformation Center for Sustainability and Cultural change (KAT at KIT-ITAS) organize an online workshop on Designing inclusive and engaging hybrid workshop formats with specific focus on urban transformation moderated by Christine Bell/Centre for Facilitation. \nRegister here!\nThis workshop is designed for stakeholders in the field of urban transformation with diverse background (e.g. researchers\, professional facilitators\, practitioners\, public administration\,) who are interested in creating effective and engaging workshops that combine both in-person and remote participation.
