Call ENSCC – Results of pre-proposal evaluation announced

The ERA-NET Cofund Smart Cities and Communities (ENSCC) focuses on new solutions for urban areas in the fields of energy and transport systems, big data and smart governance. The ENSCC Joint Call for Proposals was launched on December 11, 2014.
By March 2015, 79 eligible pre-proposals were submitted to this Joint Call. After an individual assessment of the pre-proposals by 19 international experts, the experts met at the beginning of May 2015 in Bucharest, Romania; this in order to agree on a joint priority list of proposals to be invited to the second stage of the call (submission of a full proposal).
The Steering Committee of the ENSCC (consisting of representatives of all funding bodies involved) has now approved the priority list of the Expert Panel. After a detailed eligibility check of the selected pre-proposals on the national or regional level, a total of 31 pre-proposals have been invited to submit a full proposal until mid September 2015. Within the full proposal, especially the work programme of an envisioned project and the individual contributions of the different consortium partners have to be elaborated in more detail.
The evaluation of the full proposals will take place at the beginning of November 2015 in Vienna, and the final results of the evaluation process are scheduled to be announced at the beginning of 2016 at the latest.
