"As research and innovation funders we want to bring about a certain change through the funding we offer. Our focus extends beyond mere innovation and competitiveness; our commitment lies in achieving a specific mission – the transition towards sustainability and climate neutrality at the urban level. As we embark on this mission, we embrace a spirit of shared leadership. There is no leadership to be expected from someone above; instead, shared leadership has been the key to our success in the past years and will remain essential going forward."
