Welcome to the Conference on Seamless sustainable everyday urban mobility, organized by the partners of the international EU research project EASIER, 22-23 April 2024 in Denmark. Partners from Denmark, Germany, Norway and Sweden will come together to share insights from this 3-year research project, and discuss future outlook and synergies together with other leading experts in the field.
EASIER has investigated how to increase the share of active and sustainable modes through improved public transport systems and interaction with other modes. Its international multidisciplinary approach has brought together experts in the areas of behavioural modelling, transport modelling, urban design and planning, psychology, and operations research – from both practice and academia.
This concluding conference will showcase the results of the project focusing on attractive public transport, the interaction with urban space, walking and bicycling as well as importance of improved organisational structures.
