JPI Urban Europe is ready to establish as the research and innovation hub for urban transitions and is working with the European Commission on a longer-term programme called “Driving Urban Transitions to a Sustainable Future (DUT)”. We know that it takes all types of urban actions for the needed shifts to be realised. That is why we are happy to invite you to join us into this next phase on the journey towards a sustainable future and explore the next steps at the JPI Urban Europe Policy Conference on November 12, 2020, in Brussels or online.

The conference will focus on how to make global strategies into local action by focusing on:

  • How does sustainable urban development contribute to international policies?
  • What are the next steps to ensure capacity-building and mobilisation of Research and Innovation in cities?
  • How do we best enhance and support replication, mainstreaming and scaling up?

Meet change makers, researchers and urban actors and explore the next steps at the JPI Urban Europe Policy Conference on November 12, 2020.

Together we will define the next steps on how to bring research into action, make urban change happen and boost the urgently needed urban transformations!

We are closely following the COVID19 developments and recommendations on in-person events but as these are uncertain times, we are looking at alternative solutions to meet in Brussels. However, we stay committed that the conference will take place on November 12 whether it is as an in-person-, digital- or hybrid event.
