Smart City Governance: building new solutions, exploiting the potentials – Exploitation Workshop

2 March 2017

JPI Urban Europe in collaboration with CEMR and URBIS are promoting an Exploitation Workshop – Smart City Governance: building new solutions, exploiting the potentials – to be hosted by the CEMR Conference Centre, Brussels on Thursday 2 March 2017.

The workshop will engage with a diversity of expertise in structured dialogue exploring new opportunities for maximising the exploitation potentials of smart city governance solutions. The workshop aim is to explore these potentials to enhance project exploitation, considering market opportunity, the development of new business models, as well as longer-term dynamics and sustainability.

The event will be animated by expert contributions from PwC, URBIS, the European Commission, European Environment Agency, European Innovation Partnership Smart Cities and Communities (EIP SCC), European city networks, and a multiplicity of JPI Urban Europe project partners. The workshop will present outputs of the recently completed PwC large-scale study of the overall benefits and impact of the Copernicus programme, and develop and test EIP SCC guiding principles on scaling up and replication of Smart City Plans devised to increase the impact of smart city and community projects and pilots.

PLEASE NOTE: Places at the workshop are limited as the prime focus is engagement between URBIS and JPI Urban Europe projects – however, please notify if you can offer a specific contribution by mailing to: David.Ludlow@uwe.ac.uk
