N.B. The main language at the conference will be Dutch. English-speaking visitors are of course welcome and efforts to work around the language barrier will be made if possible.
Everywhere in the Netherlands, urban regions get started with transition and transformation motivated by challenges at the interface between space, living, accessibility, economy and governance. That requires good knowledge. This knowledge comes about in research projects of VerDuS SURF in which scientists work together with policy makers from different authorities and other professionals from urban practice.
On November 29, 2018, you will learn about first research results and exchange knowledge, information and experience on (sustainable) mobility, energy transition, circular economy, area development from below, space and living, the living lab instrument, climate adaptation and more.
