The 2nd City Regeneration Congress (Re-City 2017), under the theme “(Im)Possible Cities” will be held in one of the nicest and largest cities of the North Europe, Tampere. The Congress provides an interdisciplinary forum for researchers, students, and practitioners in the fields of urban planning, architecture, traffic planning and logistics, ecology, urban history, informatics, health sciences, economics and business, political sciences, social sciences, and humanities. Re-City promises to provide an ideal setting for speakers to share experiences and innovations and learn from internationally distinguished renowned experts.
Re-City 2017: (Im)Possible Cities is organized as a back-to-back conference with Association of Literary Urban Studies (ALUS) Conference with the same theme (Im)Possible Cities, see here. If you intend to participate in both events, please register for them separately (one day in one and two days in another).
Additionally, Re-City 2017 offers an opportunity to see a Finnish inland city Tampere with a special industrial heritage and many interesting architectural sights. The city is situated between two lakes and this landscape is unique among Finnish lake environments.
