The symposium aims to capture the complexities and relational ramifications in a ‘dilemma-driven’ approach to the urban societal challenge of sustainable and liveable cities and urban areas (yet in an accessible format): how do we ask the questions? What types of urban R&I are relevant to tackle the challenge? If possible, indications of ways or ‘requirons’ needed to steer towards synergies: what kinds of re-thought understandings of how the urban works would it require? What kinds of ‘impossibilibilites’ present obstacles against turning friction into traction? Further details in the PDF
