Welcome to a five day summer school on interdisciplinary approaches to the sustainable city organized by the Antwerp Urban Studies Institute (USI) and the Antwerp Institute of Environment and Sustainable Development (IMDO), in partnership with the Urban European Research Alliance (UERA). This summer school aims to address the sustainable city from an interdisciplinary perspective. We assess how the introduction of technology can transform contemporary cities towards more sustainability.
The summer school combines lectures by a range of distinguished external speakers and local staff from the Antwerp Urban Studies Institute and other departments of the University of Antwerp with field trips and discussion sessions.

- 5th day – Social Justice and Engagement
Scholarships : Applicants from the following countries can qualify for scholarships provided by UERA: Greece, Bulgaria, Poland, Czech Republic, Romania, Ukraine, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Slovakia and Slovenia.
