Accessibility is an important driver for health, economic development and quality of life. Thus, the anniversary plans to bring together scholars from various disciplines and countries interested in the topic. The aim of the workshop is to discuss what we have learnt during these prolific ten years moving on to the next decade regarding what is still missing. For this reason, we encourage presentations of completed research on the topic and also theoretical discussion papers on the progress made in accessibility analysis.
NECTAR is a European-based scientific association. The primiary objective is to foster research collaboration and exchange of information between experts in the field of transport, communication and mobility from all European countries and the rest of the world. It is a multidisciplinary social science network which brings together a wide variety of perspecitves on transport and communication problems and their impacts on society in an international perspective.
