The session aims at discussing the thematic linkages, potentials and critical issues in and between the three dimensions - the just city, the green city, and the productive city - of the New Leipzig Charter and cities’ needs to drive urban transitions along these dimensions in an integrated approach. It will highlight key issues to empower cities to unleash their transformative potential.
This session will highlight selected cases, local initiatives, and projects aimed at transforming urban areas on a neighbourhood scale and offer good practice on how to achieve inclusive and equitable urban transitions.
This training workshop on planning and maintaining experimental approaches for urban transitions allows participants to playfully lay out the cornerstones for experimental approaches.
