JPI Urban Europe held a brokerage event on the 30th of May as part of the JPI Urban Europe Conference in Brussels, where city representatives were invited to pitch their cities’ challenges and discuss them with researchers and industrial actors.
Nine different cities brought up for discussion challenges they face as diverse as ‘big data’ and ’emissions from construction sites’. Participants could benefit from a unique setting that facilitated interaction between the large number of cities present, researchers and business representatives. The meeting resulted in fruitful discussions and input directly targeted at resolving the different matters from the cities’ pitches.
