The ERA-NET Cofund Call Smart Cities and Communities (ENSCC) is coming to an end in 2019 and most of the 17 projects have already finalized or will do so during the Spring.

In this context, the ENSCC Final Event organised in Vienna on April 2, offered the funded projects a good opportunity to share research results, to plan communication and exploitation follow-up activities and to identify opportunities for future collaboration.

Involved funding agencies and stakeholders from cities and business were also invited and were given the  opportunity to learn about results and outcomes from the projects and join a discussion on the potential impacts.

At the event, first steps towards describing and defining the legacy of ENSCC and building on the outcomes from projects on an aggregated level were initiated.
