JPI Urban Europe has engaged in a China outreach to strengthen the research cooperation between Europe and China. For this new ERA-NET Cofund Urban Accessibility and Connectivity (ENUAC) call, JPI Urban Europe and the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) will address the urban mobility, accessibility, and connectivity challenge in the Sino-European cooperation, with a focus on knowledge and impact. The sub-themes are ‘Sustainable Urban Logistics’ and ‘Individual Mobility’.

The call will be launched in January 2022, and follow a two-stage procedure, with pre-proposals first and then full proposals. These project proposals should be an integrated collaboration between European and Chinese research teams, and involve researchers from at least two participating European countries and China.
