JPI Climate, JPI Urban Europe and ICLEI would like to invite you to get involved in enabling climate change adaptation in your city and help your city become a front-runner.
In Europe, the demand for local climate services, urban living labs and learning alliances is growing, in order to bridge gaps between competing policy objectives and to encourage adaptation to increasing risks of climate change and extreme weather events in urban areas.
To help meet this demand, the Joint Programming Initiatives Climate and Urban Europe have joined forces with ICLEI, the only network of sustainable cities operating worldwide, in a practice-oriented session at the 2nd European Climate Change Adaptation Conference.
For those highly involved in the topic, who have overcome difficulties in improving the climate-resilience of a city: your experiences can inspire other cities and trigger well-considered on-the-ground change. Learning more about your adaptation experiences is highly valuable in this workshop.
