Project blog about the past, present and future of the (post-)industrial city

In November 2018, the Bright Future project consortium (from the ERA-NET Smart Urban Futures call) visited Corby, hosted by their UK partners Social Life and the Young Foundation.

The JPI Urban Europe project ‘Bright Future for Black Towns’, wants to develop place-specific strategies for small and medium-sized European industrial towns. In a series of blog posts the project partners talk about their field trips from their case study towns: Velenje (Slovenia), Fieni (Romania), Kajaani (Finland), Heerlen (Netherlands), and Corby (UK).
