The ACUTE final event

November 28 the ACUTE knowledge hub and its five working groups met online for their final event, to present the results and outcomes from their work. The project's final reports are now available for download.

The knowledge hub ACUTE started in November 2022 under the framework of ERA-NET EN-UAC. During two years the project has support the program and its projects by helping to overcome the fragmentation of findings and experiences, created a space for stakeholder exchange, anabled cross-project cooperation like consolidate and synthesise knowledge, supported practitioners, policy-makers and funders with the mainstreaming of research results, and provided strategic support for the Driving Urban Transition Partnership (DUT), etc.

One of the reports presents an in-depth analysis of the 15 projects in ENUAC. In conclusion, the analysis demonstrates that the ENUAC projects have made significant progress in advancing sustainable and inclusive mobility across Europe. Although challenges remain, particularly in ensuring the longevity of project outcomes and fostering greater collaboration, the innovative approaches and strong stakeholder involvement seen in these projects lay a solid foundation for future urban transformation efforts.

Another report present the results from a synthesis analysis of the ENUAC projects. The analyse focus on e.g. main objectives and visions of the projects, how accessibility and connectivity are conceptualized, how coalitions/consortiums are built, and how outputs from the project transformed are set into action, and by whom. The report also provides suggestions for improvement, based on its lessons learned.

A knowledge hub platform

Another result of ACUTE’s work is a community that provides an inclusive environment for urban actors from different backgrounds (researchers, practitioners, public administrators, entrepreneurs, social innovators, etc.) to discuss current issues and priorities and to identify the most pressing urban challenges of today and tomorrow. Check out the 15 Minutes City Community Knowledge Hub on the platform Expertises Territoires. The platform offers:

  • Deliverables from the project
  • The presentation of the final event
  • The recording of the Final Event

The Knowledge Hub ACUTE has been established under the framework of ERA-NET Cofund Urban Accessibility and Connectivity (ENUAC). The project started in November 2022 and lasted 2 years with a dedicated view to become a permanent contact point for the community. The project has extracted and consolidated knowledge of the ENUAC projects, initiated efforts to support practitioners and brought together experts from different sectors.
